A Leesville man is dead after police say he was involved in an altercation with his grandmother.
Vernon parish sheriff's deputies say around ten o'clock Saturday night, Jesse Weeks was shot and killed by Albert Brown.
Weeks lived with his grandmother and police say Brown, who is their neighbor, went in the house and shot weeks multiple times after learning of a disturbance between the two.
Brown is being held at the Vernon Parish Jail on second degree murder charges.
