ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Baylor's women's team has lost the highest-scoring game in Division I women's history. No. 5 Kentucky beat the No. 9 Bears 133-130 in four overtimes. The Bears played without guard Odyssey Sims, who had a career-high 47 points when she fouled out. However, Baylor beat defending national champion Kentucky in men's basketball later in the evening.
HOUSTON (AP) - The Houston Rockets got big production from their stars in beating the Golden State Warriors 105-83. James Harden scored 34 points and Dwight Howard added 22 along with 18 rebounds. The Rockets had lost two straight going into the game.
HOUSTON (AP) - Special teams coach Joe Marciano is following head coach Gary Kubiak out the door for the Houston Texans. The coordinator was fired yesterday a few hours after Kubiak. The Texans have lost 11 straight games. Houston promoted Bob Ligashesky from special teams assistant to coordinator.
HOUSTON (AP) - The Houston Astros have added a veteran righty to their rotation. Scott Feldman has signed a three-year deal. Feldman was 12-12 with a 3.86 ERA in 30 combined starts for the Chicago Cubs and Baltimore last season. He has made 131 starts in his career with a record slightly below .500.
