DALLAS (AP) - Authorities say 10 people have been hospitalized after two Dallas city busses collided. A Dallas Area Rapid Transit spokesman says the rear-end collision happened yesterday in the southern part of the city. The 10 people injured included both drivers and some children. One bus had stopped to board passengers when it was struck from behind.
HOUSTON (AP) - Trial is getting underway for a breast cancer doctor based at Houston's famed Texas Medical Center who's accused of poisoning a fellow physician boyfriend with coffee laced with ethylene glycol. Court documents say George Blumenschein became ill and survived kidney failure after she made and served him two cups of coffee at her home early last year. Ana MariaGonzalez-Angulo was arrested five months later and charged with aggravated assault. Her attorney says she's innocent.
DALLAS (AP) - Authorities say a college football fan remains in critical condition after falling more than 12 feet from the stands into a field-level suite during the Texas-UCLA game. An Arlington Fire Department spokesman says the man fell 12-15 feet on Saturday at the $1.2 billion AT&T Stadium. The man was conscious when he was transported.
SANTA FE, Texas (AP) - A Houston animal society says more than 100 animals rescued from a Santa Fe home are receiving veterinary care but may not be adopted. The two men who live at the home are cooperating with authorities. Sheriff's deputies seized the animals Friday after a neighbor complained about the condition of the six-acre property.
