LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - There has been a lot of talk surrounding the status of Sulphur High School's head football coach Paul Bourgeois.
We here at 7Sports wanted to clear things up and let the fans know what's happening.
A source close to the Sulphur High football program tells 7Sports Bourgeois is still the head coach of the Tors. His status has not changed at all.
In eight seasons at Sulphur, Bourgeois has a 56-32 overall record. He took Sulphur to the 5A state championship game back in 2006. The Tors lost in that game to Acadiana on a late field goal.
