Bilbo sentenced to life behind bars for 2007 murder

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - A man who was found guilty of second degree murder will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Kenneth Bilbo was sentenced to life without parole after being found guilty of killing 27-year old Rodrick Syas.

Syas' body was found floating in the Calcasieu River near the Fitzenrider boat launch around February 1, 2007. He had been shot several times.
