    A tip about a bomb threat is being investigated near the Cracker Barrel in Sulphur.  Sulphur Police are investigating and Louisiana State Police has been called to the scene. Police are asking people to avoid the area for the next several hours.  KPLC is on the scene and will update this story as more details become available.  Copyright 2018 KPLC.     A Houma man partially laying on railroad tracks just east of the Lake Charles city limits was struck and killed Sunday. The accident happened near where the tracks intersect with La. 3256, according to Kim Myers, spokeswoman for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office. Myers said that as the train was backing up around 11 p.m. Sunday, the engineer was unable to see Long, who was hit by the back end of the train.
