LCPD searching for attempted murder suspect

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - The Lake Charles Police Department is searching for a suspect in an attempted first-degree murder investigation.

Police are looking for Kentrell Joseph Dunn after an alleged Dec. 19 shooting.

According to Cpl. Larry Moss with LCPD officers were dispatched to the 900 block of W 18th Street in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived at the scene a male victim was located with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital and is said to be stable at this time.

During the investigation LCPD obtained an arrest warrant for Dunn. He is charged with attempted first-degree murder and his bond has been set at $250,000 by Judge David Richie.

Dunn is considered armed and dangerous. If you have information on his whereabouts you are asked to call LCPD at 337-491-1311.
