Salvador defeats Keller in City Marshal race

KPLC 7News Election Night Nightcast - Part I

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Vic Salvador will be the next Lake Charles City Marshal.

Salvador (R) received 52 percent of the vote (7,157 votes to 6,715 votes) to defeat Nathan Keller (D).

Salvador will replace Joey Alcede, who did not seek re-election.

Salvador served as chief civil deputy for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Both Salvador and Keller had 24 percent of the vote out of seven candidates in the Nov. 6 primary.
