Former Saints head coach Mike Ditka released from hospital after mild heart attack

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Former Saints head coach Mike Ditka is out of the hospital after being treated for a mild heart attack. Ditka suffered the heart attack last week.

According to the AP Ditka was released from the hospital on Monday. Ditka’s agent, Steve Mandell, said over the weekend Ditka was doing “much better.”

Ditka coached the Black and Gold from 1997-99. “Da Coach” went 15-33 in New Orleans.
