DALLAS, TX (KPLC) - ‘Mr. Irrelevant’ has been anything but since his return from injury.
A week after Trey Quinn made his first NFL catch, the Lake Charles native scored his first touchdown with the Washington Redskins. Quinn, who returned from an ankle injury in week 11, caught a 10-yard pass from Colt McCoy to put his first points on the board.
The touchdown drive was set up by a 30-yard punt return by Quinn. Quinn finished the day with five receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown. He also added 40 yards from punt returns.
The Cowboys, led by Vinton native Dak Prescott, would rally back to beat the Redskins, 31-23.
