ALLEN PARISH, LA (KPLC) - An Allen Parish man has been arrested for allegedly driving through Timber Management Company land with a stolen tractor, according to Veronica Mosgrove with the Department of Agriculture and Forestry.
The LDAF received a complaint about the damage on Oct. 3, says Mosgrove. Agents discovered evidence that Nathan Martin, 36, allegedly stole a tractor and caused around $3,000 in damage to a quarter acre of timber.
Martin is charged with one count of criminal trespass and one count of simple criminal damage to property. He is being held in the Allen Parish Jail and is facing additional criminal charges related to the incident.
